The XBox 360 is unequivocally the worst piece of consumer electronics I have ever owned. I have never seen a device fail so spectacularly so frequently.

Not only has it needed to go out for repair 3 times, (I sense #4 on the way) it has been rendered impotent by software updates twice.

That said, the customer service I've received as an XBox 360 owner has been very good. I'm sure Mr. Moore would be pleased, if he were still working for Microsoft. However I think on a personal level I would rather be less familiar with Microsoft's customer service procedures with regard to XBox 360 repair.

I would rather not know where McAllen, Texas is. I would rather not know that it is a weird border town where 360's go to die, or to be Frankensteined back to life with parts hewed from the bones of the damned.

What happened to the good old days when you could just blow spittle into systems to make them work again? Kidding. (not really)

(In contrast, the PowerShot SD1000 is probably one of the best electronic items I've ever owned.)
